New 2010 Nissan 370Z Car

The Japanese automaker wasted no time getting the event rolling, introducing its highly-anticipated New 2010 Nissan 370Z Car, which was previewed with a three teaser photos last month. This prototype also gives a good idea of just how wide the New 2010 Nissan 370Z Car’s fenders flare out in back. When viewed from behind, the Nissan looks more like a Porsche Cayman than a $30K Nissan. The New 2010 Nissan 370Z Car mule seen here, as has been previously reported, appears to be shorter in wheelbase over the outgoing Z. The car’s decrease in size should help make the New 2010 Nissan 370Z Car lighter than the car it’s replacing, which should mean performance and fuel efficiency of the new Z will be improved. Those 332 horses will be sent to the 370Z’s rear wheels via either a seven-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox. Of note, the six-speed 370Z will be the first vehicle to offer a synchronized downshift rev matching system with a manual transmission. The scans give us among other things, a first view of the 2010 Z’s interior and dashboard with its G37 inspired centre console along with shots of the front and rear end of the coupe. While the Japanese company is busy planning a hybrid line-up, small sports coupe and the launch of the Nissan GT-R, Nissan has pushed back the next-generation Z. However, on the cards for the next-generation Z is a brand-new design. Scheduled for a release in 2010 as as 2011 model, performance will be upgraded by 30 horsepower as the Infiniti G37’s 3.7-litre V6, 330 horsepower engine will find its way under the hood of the next-generation Z.Nissan announced today that the redesigned 370Z coupe will start at $29,930.The new price represents a $1,420 increase over the 2008 350Z coupe — the ‘09 350Z is available only as a convertible — but new standard features include an electronic stability system and steering-wheel audio controls. It’s repeated ad infinitum by a synthesized voice on top of some techno music while a series of images showing off the new sports car flicker by on the screen. It goes on for almost two minutes, after which you’ll either want to go place an order for the Z or maybe become a serial killer.

Toyota FT-86 Concept

We all know that sports car fans are constantly looking for the next bright and shiny sports car that they can bow down to. Well – the Toyota FT-86 Concept is going to be it, if it makes it through the testing mind you. This beautiful car is actually looking pretty chic in this picture and while it might just be a concept car right now, Toyota is seriously considering putting the Toyota FT-86 Concept together.

The engine – well, it is certainly something to be proud of. It is going to be a 2.0-liter engine with about 250HP to it. While that might not seem all that fast or that big, the smaller the engine, the better the quality is the rule that I go by.

If you happen to be looking for a new sports car – the Toyota FT-86 Concept is going to be awesome!

Honda Civic Hybrid

Honda Siel Cars India Limited introduced Civic Hybrid in the Indian automobile industry in June 2008. The luxurious sedan is the first hybrid ever launched in the country. An inescapable exhilaration will be felt the moment you turn on the ignition of this car. Honda Civic Hybrid is definitely one of the most environment friendly cars seen on Indian roads. Powered by a high-tech engine, the automobile boasts of stunning looks and good fuel efficiency.

Engine
Honda Civic Hybrid is powered by 1.3L i-VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) engine combined with a compact and efficient electric motor - IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) system. The hybrid system provides three stages of valve timing (low-speed, high-speed, and valve-deactivated mode). As soon as you apply brakes, the "idle stop" feature occurs automatically, making the engine stop temporarily. When brake pedal is released, the engine restarts on its own. This way, a good amount of fuel is saved and emissions are minimized.

Design And Comfort
The powerful engine, nimble handing and futuristic technology of Honda Civic Hybrid are wrapped up in a sophisticated design. The car's frontage deserves special mention - it is adorned with clear lens fog lamps, beautiful headlights, and a sleek front grille. In the rear side is an aerodynamic trunk spoiler, which adds to the presence of the automobile. The unique 15-inch, lightweight alloy wheels add a stylish touch to the luxurious sedan. As far as comfort is concerned, people will forget the outside world, because it is so relaxing to take a ride in Civic Hybrid.

Interiors
Clad in top-quality leather, the seats of Honda Civic Hybrid are very comfortable to sit on. The sporty cockpit cabin of the car is equipped with high-tech audio system that has been integrated on the dash. Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control System facilitates uniform cooling throughout the cabin. Apart from this, Civic Hybrid also comes equipped with vanity mirrors as well as front and rear center armrest. Audio controls are mounted on the steering.

Ride And Handling
Honda Civic Hybrid comes equipped with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which blends the effortlessness of an automatic with the efficiency of a manual transmission. CVT is combined with the Drive-by-wire Throttle System, in order to provide the most efficient drive ratio possible, depending on the torque load. The electric motor of the car assists the gasoline engine during acceleration and stores energy during braking and deceleration.

The only engine available for Mitsubishi L-200 Sportero is a block of 3.5 litre V6 with 175 hp. From changing series of five-speed manual is optional but can incorporate an automatic four relations. The traction is to complete all four wheels.

The standard equipment is very complete and has automatic climate control, front and rear electric windows, power locks, high-quality upholstery, ABS, dual airbags, power steering, electric mirrors, CD/MP3 stereo with, and so on.

Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports

Toyota is going to show to the world its latest Hybrid sport car concept at the Detroit auto show. The new concept is called the FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept. It is a 2-door sports coupe using the Lexus GS450h engine which can put out 400 horsepower.

By combining a 197hp electric engine with a 292hp 3.5L V6, Toyota has created a sports car version of the GS450h – a car that was supremely quick but turned into a yacht when you wanted to take a corner. And with its light weight, the FT-HS should be able to hit the 60mph mark in just 4 seconds, undercutting the GS450h by over a second.

Honda CRZ Concept

According to Environment Manager at Honda (UK) John Kingston, "Hybrids have always been seen as niche products, and hybrid car design has mostly been based around practicality and versatility, The CR-Z Concept looks stunning, and shows that green cars can be sexy and exciting - but also minimize environmental impact."

Honda has not released some important information about the Honda CR-Z such as the gas mileage, types of batteries, top speed, zero to 60 mph acceleration, and other specifications. At this point, they are relying more on the visual shock and awe of the vehicle to suffice.

With the release of the Honda CR-Z, however, the Japanese automaker will be selling approximately 250,000 hybrids in 2009. And, when it comes to greening the environment, that ain't no small potatoes.

Honda Civic Type-R

Perhaps figuring that they'd need a very dark sheet indeed to conceal the searing yellow paint on their latest Civic Type-R Concept, some Honda press images have apparently snuck out in advance of the car's debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week.

While officially just a concept, the hot hatch is likely a sincere indicator of the 2007 CTR, which (as ever) isn't slated for U.S. consumption. The showcar is allegedly powered by the same 197-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder that motivates the current Type-R, though it isn't known for sure whether the production version will be a carryover piece as well.

In light of the escalating small arms race taking place among hot hatches around the globe, it would be rather surprising if Honda failed to make any major improvements to the CTR's power supply. That said, if this word is indeed accurate, consider it more grist for the rumor mill clamoring about an even hotter Civic Type-RR.

Honda of Europe President and CEO Takeo Fukui will introduce the car with a little help from Jenson Button, one of Honda's most popular Formula One drivers.

Honda Civic Hybrid

The Civic Hybrid soldiers on with its uniquely-styled wheels and gets standard stability control for 2009. As you can see in the gallery below, leather seating is also now available, along with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB interface for portable media players. The 1.3L four with IMA is unchanged and is rated at the same 40 mpg city/45 mpg highway as last year’s car. Overall, yes, the car’s changed, but only very slightly. Meanwhile, everyone waits with bated breath for the official unveiling of the big H’s hybrid-only Prius fighter

Honda FCX Clarity

Honda announced that it would start producing the FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel-cell car. Honda FCX Clarity runs on hydrogen and electricity, and emits only water. According to Honda, the FCX Clarity is two times more energy efficient than gas-electric hybrid and three times that of a standard gasoline-powered car.
The FCX handles like a well-composed family car. But easily distracted drivers might be mesmerized by the multi-color power meter gauge in the center of the dashboard, especially a ball that grows alarmingly and changes color as fuel mileage dwindles. (Note to self: See if mashing the throttle down long enough will cause the ball - and the car - to self-destruct to prevent further environmental irresponsibility.) Driven properly, the FCX is expected to deliver the equivalent of 68 mpg and zero tailpipe emissions.

Honda confirms new NSX

Devotees of the late, great Acura NSX – and that's just about everybody, really – have been waiting patiently for the second coming that once reportedly based on the Advanced Sports Car Concept shown above, but Honda keeps on making us wait longer. While there's still more waiting to be done, at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel, as Honda has revealed that the new NSX will make its debut in 2010. Sometime.

The second-generation Japanese supercar was anticipated for a launch this year at the Tokyo show, but we were disappointed when the Honda pavilion was absent of any such high-performance wizardry. Since the cancellation of the original NSX, TSX and Prelude, the aging S2000 roadster has been left all alone to defend Honda's honor on the sportscar front, while Nissan gets all the glory with the new GT-R.
